Chapter 1 · The problem
Ethiopia does not have a coffee quality problem. It has a data and traceability problem.
Millions of small plots without GPS. Cherry mixed before farms are recorded. Legality papers in folders. Spreadsheet “evidence” that EU operators will not trust. Map after the coffee is pooled and it is already too late.
